Front Description
This pin is almost triangular in shape. Its corners are rounded by a bright silver thorny bramble that encirlces the outer edge. At the top in white letters is the "Disneyland(c)Resort" logo. The background is a combination of greens with a forest-like design. In the foreground standing in profile toward the right, from the waist up, is Maleficent (from Sleeping Beauty) in black with silver details and a pale green face. Her left hand is holding her magic staff with her pet raven Diablo sitting on its top orb. Her right hand is on the bird's back. Diablo is black with a pink face and yellow beak. Stenciled element is the following two lines writted at the top of the pin and covered by some sort of lucite/plastic-like coating that covers the top one-sixth of the pin: Disneyland (r) RESORT Silver-finished. Two posts, aligned horizontally and placed approxinately 0.375 inches down from the top of the pin and 0.5 inches in from each edge of the pin. No nubs. Mickey head icon pattern on the back runs off the edge. No border along the edge. Copyright information in two boxes, aligned vertically aceoss the center back of the pin underneath the two posts. Both boxes are recessed and the copyright information placed on top of the recessed box and centered inside each box: 1st box: 2012 ODPT logo. 2nd box contains 4 lines: SURPRISE PIN Limited Edition 500 © Disney China The pin measures approx. 1 3/4" x 1 5/8" at its widest places.
