Front Description
This is a pin of D.C. Comics character Superman. Superman is depicted in a flying pose. This pin is very similar to Pin # 44404. It is the same pose / artwork but is free of the excess gold fill in the smaller spaces. Here they are fully cut out to the shape. Approx. 1 1/2" high Gold base metal. Backstamped: © D.C. COMICS INC. 1987 (1987 is the date that seems clearest, although it's possibly another date as the numbers are a bit hard to read) The metal on the back has a criss-crossed squared pattern.
