Silver Artist Proof of #43755. This pin commemorates the Disney artist famous for bringing Monstro to animated life. Woolie Reitherman, one of Walt Disney's "Nine Old Men," a name given to the nine original key animators, is immortalized on this special proof series pin. One of the 250 pins in the edition is this one-of-a-kind base-metal proof pin. This proof pin was created during the production process and was used by the artists to check for imperfections in the mold before the pins were made. Only a single proof was created and randomly included with one of the purchases of gold version #43755. Measures 2" H x 2" W. Enamel cloisonné.
