To help identify the counterfeits: 1. The upper wing/head is more grey than brown. 2. The face and belly are more yellow-cream than tan. 3. The beak is bright orange rather than a brownish-orange. 4. The eyes are yellow rather than yellow-green. 5. The ruff under the chin is very dark, almost gray rather than a tan. 6. On the back, there are no nubs on either side of the pin.
