Front Description
The old Disneyland sign is one of 67 pins released as a series in 1998 (before pin trading had officially started) to commemorate some of Disneyland's favorite attractions - both present to that time and from the past. The pin's perspective is as if viewing from in front and slightly above the sign, to give a sense of the sign's height. "Disneyland" is in white on a dark blue marquee. The background is pink. At the top is an image of Sleeping Beauty Castle, plus yellow, red and green flags. Below Disneyland it says, in gold, "The Happiest Place on Earth!" This copper-finished pin measures 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) tall by 1 5/16" (3.3 cm) wide. The backstamp reads, "DISNEY."
