Front Description
During WWII the Disney Studios designed over 1,200 insignia for American and Allied military units. Gremlin Gus was a character from a planned but never completed and released Disney movie based on R.A.F. pilot Roald Dahl's book, 'Gremlins'. In this case I believe the pin depicts the use of Disney nose art painted on the fuselage of B-17 Flying Fortress rather than a unit insignia.
