Front Description
This is a recognition pin given to Cast Members of The Walt Disney Travel Company in Anaheim for being a top performer for the month. M.A.G.I.C. Measures is the term for Disney’s performance scale that the Travel Cast Members are rated on: M – Make the reservation. A – Add personal service. G – Great guest service. I – Inform & educate guest on services. C – Customize package. One pin is given for 4 different categories (100% Service, Revenue per Hour, Revenue per Arrival, Top Conversion) to the top performers in 4 different divisions. There are a total of 8 pins for this year (Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs). This is an actual WDTC Cast Recognition pin. The Travel Company is on a fiscal year which goes from October to September thus the first award was given for the month of October fiscal year 2005. The pin is presented on a card with the cast member’s name, what the award was and the month. The actual edition size is unknown. The back of the pin reads: Cast Exclusive/Disney©/China. This pin has a very nice, polished finish and is approx. 1.75"H x 1.5"W. In 2003 a new initiative was created to reward Cast Members of the WDTC for their hard work and performance in reaching their "Magic Measures". If there was no "Top", the pin was not distributed. Once a month, eight or less pins were distributed. The "SW and D" were introduced in 2005. 2005 Was the first year CMs could choose which pin they wanted as their reward.
