Front Description
This small pin features Sorcerer Mickey using his magic to defeat the evil dragon Maleficent. This pin has the set up of the stage with Mickey in water and Maleficent as the Dragon with a background of fire. This pin can only be attained by trading from a cast member. This is one of the new global Lanyard pins, in a sub-set featuring night time shows. Fantasmic is a nightime show at both Disney-MGM Studios at WDW and Disneyland in California. This is a Disneyland only Cast Lanyard series. Approximate size (in inches): 1 1/8 H, 1 1/2 W. Back of the pin is pebble-textured silver, except for the three boxes containing copyright onfo, which are smooth silver. Copyright info is below the single post, on two lines. 1st line: Cast Lanyard Series in a box 2nd line on left : MM OPT logo 2nd line on right: two lines in a box, '(c) DISNEY' on the top, with '.' on either side mid-height. On bottom , 'MADE IN CHINA' in smaller font. This pin was re-released in 2006, and has the 2006 backstamp. *NOTE* There are unauthorized versions of this pin being sold on the secondary market. They can be identified by the placement of the MM Head ODPT ICON on the back. The unauthorized copy has it above the copyright box, authorized version has it to the left of the copyright box. This has been confirmed by the individual in charge of Pins at DLR. As a reminder, every pin released by Disney has the potential of being a scrapper.
