Front Description
New pin put out to promote the Olympics. Has the logo with Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, and Goofy hand in hand; Minnie stands to the left of Donald, and Pluto stands to the right of Goofy. Says "2000 Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand, Walt Disney World, Limited Edition of 1,500 ©Disney Made in China" on the back. This was a 'surprise' pin that was not announced earlier than it's release. It somehow got overlooked when the numbering system came into play. ****Actually this wasn't much of a surprise at all. It was announced ahead of time that this pin would be available on that particular day. Any one who was there (400+ people) remembers waiting behind the rope under the Spaceship Earth for the place to open. Once they let the doves loose and the rope dropped, it turned into a foot race as everyone sprinted to the Pin Station and Mouse Gears only to wait in line to buy. Within an hour they were all gone.
