Front Description
This great, old brass pin has a tiger emerging from a tall grass forest and says "Mickey Mouse Weekly" in a light blue ribbon on the top and "Jungle Club" in a light blue oval on the bottom. In 1936, Mickey Mouse Weekly was the first comic to be printed in full color (at least in Great Britain) and publication continued until 1955. Therefore, it would appear that this pin was made sometime between 1936 and 1955. The back has a typical old European brooch-style pin. The writing on the back is hard to read, but it looks like it says "Roden, London." According to a source in the UK, this pin was made available to UK subscribers of Mickey Mouse Weekly in 1936.
