Front Description
This round silver pin features a monorail running across it, with the words "Safe Piloting" around the edge and "1 Year" in the center. Presumably a cast award for monorail drivers. This pin is indeed an "award" pin for WDW Monorail pilots. The Safe Driver pin award program was instituted around 1997 to reward drivers for their years of service as a driver without a "safety violation." Years on the pins went from one to three to five years and five year increments after that. The gold version of this pin is Pin 68502.
