Accompanied by her raven Diablo, the evil fairy Maleficent from Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" lends her ominous presence to this oversize collector's pin, based on an original drawing by legendary Disney animator Marc Davis. A black-metal prototype preceding a Disney Auctions exclusive limited edition of 100 gold-finished pins, this piece features Davis' facsimile signature alongside Maleficent, who to this day remains one of his most famous creations and one of Disney's most nefarious villains. A portion of this auction's proceeds will be donated to the Marc Davis Scholarship Fund at California Institute of the Arts, the Valencia, California, art school that Walt Disney and Roy O.
