This pin is #8 from the 20 YEARS OF PIN TRADING event, which was a virtual event held in November 2020. First of the EXTRA! EXTRA! series. Each of the pins in the set was LE750 with the green diamond on the front. This pin was originally released on November 13, 2020. This pin features the Hammerman Puppets from the Tapestry of Nation's Parade. The bottom layer pin is visible mostly on the left side with a red 2000 and a white glove holding a wand with a yellow star on the end. The top layer pin features the colorful puppets with a yellow and orange glittery torch on the right side. Across the bottom is a black banner with silver letters "Celebrate the Future Hand-In-Hand". In the bottom right corner is a green diamond, found on all of the pins in this series. This pin is not from the 2000 event but is an inspirational "re-creation" of a pin that could've been sold at the event. The artist is Jes Willis. The pin was sold sealed in a clear pouch with a green border. The back of the pouch is solid emerald green with a large "2" next to a green multi-faceted diamond with TWENTY above the diamond. At the bottom of the back of the pouch is LIMITED EDITION in white, CELEBRATING TWENTY YEARS OF DISNEY PINS in white with TWENTY in green. The pin was placed in the bottom left corner of the pouch with fictional newspapers behind the pin. The text of the story on the newspaper reads "October 1, 1999 was the kick off of the Millennium Celebration at Wald Disney World Resort EPCOT. It was also the official debut date for Disney Pin Trading. The theme for the Millenium Celebration was "Celebrate Hand-in-Hand" and featured one of the most popular parades, "Tapestry of Nations."" The Walt Disney World News with the headline The Millennium Celebration was a fictional newspaper featuring a story of the Millennium Celebration. Pin measures 1-3/4 x 1-1/2 inches.
