Front Description
This seven-pin Boxed Set, featuring Duffy and Friends, was released at Shanghai Disney Resort in January 2024 for the annual Spring Festival. The design showcased the "Year of the Dragon" Chinese New Year theme. Each pin features one of the "Duffy and Friends" characters (pin-on-pin element) dressed in their "Year of the Dragon" finery and sitting atop a white background with a red glittery frame. At the bottom of the frame is a circle containing a Chinese word. When all seven pins are ordered properly, the words read "Long Nian Ji Xiang Xin Nian Hao", which translates to "Good Luck in the Year of the Dragon and Happy New Year!" This pin features Olu Mel (the green turtle), whose part of the saying is the Chinese character "Xin". Olu's wearing a dragon cap and holding an orange (glitter), with more of the fruit around his feet. There are Chinese lanterns on either side of his head, hanging on the frame.
