Some background about this, Grain Rain, or "Gu Yu" in Chinese, is one of the 24 solar terms in the traditional Chinese calendar. It usually falls between April 19th and 20th on the Gregorian calendar. Grain Rain marks the later stage of spring when rainwater increases, and it is the time for sowing and cultivating crops such as wheat and grains, hence the name "Grain Rain".
