Front Description
Classic Pooh with Piglet in pewter. The banner reads "you're a real friend". A butterfly dangles from the left side, a bumble bee dangles from the right side. Pooh and Piglet stroll together in the center. The butterfly and bee are flat on the back but the Pooh/Piglet dangle shows their backside walking away in 3D (like a charm). The reverse of the banner appears to be hand engraved (via electric stylus perhaps?) with (c) and DISNEY, also "DANFORTH PEWTER". Danforth Pewter has confirmed this pin retailed for $19.00 and was discontinued late 1998 by early 1999. This does not have a tack style pinback, this has a standard costume clasp back brooch back. This pin comes on a retail card which depicts other Classic Pooh characters.
