Front Description
One of five pins from a boxed set with a edition size of 1000. The set came in a cherry wood box with brass lid plate which has three retro pictures of Disneyland. This pin is similar to the non LE bronze-colored 45th "Partners" pin; however, this one is in color. The pin depicts the "Partners" statue of Walt Disney and Mickey. At the top are the words "Forty-Five Years of Magic." Below the statue are the words "Disneyland 45 Years" and "1955 2000 'The Original'." Similar to #487 Some sets come with a Certificate of Authenticity; others do not. According to some reports, the Certificate was removed from about half the sets after it was brought to Disney's attention that it stated pins were "individually numbered" (an apparent printing error). To avoid confusion, the Certificates were removed from unsold sets. Other pins in the set include 1283, 1284, 1285, and 1286
