Front Description
This is a pin commemorating the 2018 Lunar New Year on the opening day of the Lunar New Year Festival in California Adventure. The background is round with a yellow gold glitter color. It has a smooth outer ring with 2018 engraved at the top and LUNAR NEW YEAR engraved on the bottom. Inside the ring on a textured translucent background are Chinese characters embossed. There are 2 separate pin on pin features. The larger pin on pin is Pluto dressed in a red oriental patterned top with a green print pattern and a green collar. He is walking with an open mouth smile and tongue hanging out. The second pin on pin is "attached" to the end of his tail and is a red paper lantern that pivots at the end of his tail. The backside of the lantern top pin has a stop pin which stops the movement against the outer edge of the round base pin. The backside of the pin has 1 pin post and the standard mickey head pattern with 3 text boxes - 1) LE 4000, 2) pin trading logo, 3) copyright. The FAC number is laser printed on it. The backing card is red with the pattern graphics themed for the Lunar New Year. It has Lunar New Year 2018 in red outline lettering on a solid gold reflective background at the top of the card.
