Front Description
This pin commemorates the opening of "Disney's Animal Kingdom" in 1998. It shows Mickey in safari clothes with binoculars beside a large "98" made up of animals like the Tree of Life. There is a giraffe, rhinocerous, kangaroo, koala, elephant, panda bear, hippopotamus, bald eagle, orangutang, zebra, tortoise, parrot, lion, tiger and chimpanzee "carved" into the "98". This gold-finished, textured-back pin measures 1 3/8" tall by 1 1/2" wide. It was released, on opening day, at the Animal Kingdom.
