This pin is one of seven in a series that was released at the NFFC Show and Sale in Anaheim, California on July 19, 2009. The unique item description on the sales receipt said "Ghosts at DL". This series is about the three traditional Hitchhiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion visiting other areas of Disneyland. And while in each land, they "dress" accordingly. The three hitchhiking ghosts are shown in their traditional pose, dressed as pirates - signifying that they are visiting the Pirates of the Carribbean (POTC) attraction in New Orleans Square.
