Front Description
Pin released to commemorate the Grand Opening of the "it's a small world" attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland on April 28, 2008. Aqua colored background. The top of the attraction can be seen behind 5 famous Disney characters posing as some of the small world children. Beginning at the far left is Lilo, Stitch, Donald Duck, Aladdin, and Ariel from the Little Mermaid. This row of characters can slide back and forth from left to right. Under them is a yellow banner that reads "Hong Kong" in red text and the word "Disneyland" is multi-colored. Under the banner are five of the actual small world children surrounded by musical notes. The bottom of the pin reads "Grand Opening 2008". Size about 4 cm x 4 cm (slightly larger than 1 1/2" x 1 1/2".) On the back: OFFICIAL PIN TRADING 2008 Hong Kong Disneyland © DISNEY Note: There are bootlegs of this pin circulating the WDW cast member lanyards. The backstamp on the bootleg seems to be exactly as the description states, however, this pin is of a dull silver metal. The characters on the slider have thick silver outlines and are very badly done and unclear.
