Front Description
Sheriff Goofy, facing right, rides his horse at full gallop on this whimsical "Western" black-metal collector's pin. Goofy is dressed in his traditional costume colors of blue pants and orange shirt, but also has a light green cowboy hat, white riding gloves with a yellow star on it, and grey chaps with yellow stars. One interesting note is that what appears to be Goofy's tail is shown, something not seen very often with the character. The horse (which looks like its from the cartoon "How to Ride a Horse" from 1940) is brown and wears a smile. The pin measures 2" (52 mm) wide by 1 1/8" (30 mm) tall. It has a double-post back and the back is covered with the Disney Auctions gavel pattern. The backstamp is, "© Disney, Limited Edition 100, Disney Auctions Exclusive, China." Disney Auctions released only 25 of the pins individually, with the remaining 75 pins included as part of a set (#19568). Other pins in the set include (#19531), (#19532), (#19537), (#19567) and (#20397).
