One of six pins from the DISNEY STORY BEYOND: HAUNTED MANSION Mystery set released on 26 Jan 2023 at Tokyo Disney Resort. (This was the first Mystery pin set based on Tokyo's new "Disney Story Beyond" storytelling program.) Each box contained one random pin. Each pin features the desaturated image of a Haunted Mansion character on a screenprinted sticker that's been applied to the cut-out metal center. The heavy metal frame around the image was designed using elements of the attraction. This pin features Ezra, Phineas and Gus, the hitchhiking ghosts, with their thumbs in the air. Ezra tips his hat, Gus holds his ball and chain in his left hand, and Phineas is standing there with his sunken, beady eyes. The frame resembles the gate of the Haunted Mansion, with brick pillars topped by translucent-blue-enamel gargoyles and a decorative arch. A scroll at the bottom reads “Hitchhiking Ghosts.” The set includes Sally Slater, the Mansion Staff, the Withered Gentleman, the Ballroom Dancers, Constance the Bride, and the Hitchhiking Ghosts.
