Front Description
One of six pins from the DISNEY STORY BEYOND: HAUNTED MANSION Mystery set released on 26 Jan 2023 at Tokyo Disney Resort. (This was the first Mystery pin set based on Tokyo's new "Disney Story Beyond" storytelling program.) Each box contained one random pin. Each pin features the desaturated image of a Haunted Mansion character on a screenprinted sticker that's been applied to the cut-out metal center. The heavy metal frame around the image was designed using elements of the attraction. The center screen-printing depicts two staff members of the Haunted Mansion, Zavier and ZJ. Zavier is an old man with grey hair and mustache, and he is wearing the butler cast member outfit consisting of a green suit, purple vest and black tie. ZJ is a young woman with short black hair who wears the maid cast member outfit, which is a green dress and a black-and-white headdress. The pin is roughly rectangular like a framed portrait, with ornate sculpting at the top. Within this sculpting is the Mansion logo, a stylization of the initials HM, and a blue bat stanchion in soft enamel above ZJ on the right. A scroll on the bottom reads “Mansion Staff” in a gothic font. The set includes Sally Slater, the Mansion Staff, the Withered Gentleman, the Ballroom Dancers, Constance the Bride, and the Hitchhiking Ghosts.
