Characters - Brer Fox - The Forgotten Character
Out of all the Splash Mountain Merchandise, Brer Fox rarely makes it onto most of it. Here's a collection of the 6, count 'em, six pins out of the thousands, that have the Fox on them.

This pin was initially sold in 1986. It is for Disneyland's New Orleans Square. The pin features a purple/maroon circle with New Orleans Square logo in gold lettering. At the top, Brer Fox is playing a white saxophone.

 | Pin 6938: WDW Cast - Happy 21st Birthday (Splash Mountain)
This pin was originally part of a framed set offered exclusively to Cast Members. Produced
for the 25th Anniversary of Walt Disney World and sold at Company D stores during the 25th anniversary in 1996. The 1st 25 anniversary pins were recreated in cloisonne. The originals were either plastic, buttons, or in one case, a ribbon.
A round, light blue ppin with Brer Fox, Brer Bear and Brer Rabbit riding Splash Mountain. "Happy 21st Birtday" is written around the top and "Walt Disney World" around the bottom.

The annual Disneyland Cast Member Canoe Races. Teams of cast members paddle around Tom Sawyer Island through the Rivers of America.
Tie-tack style pin made specifically for the participating Team Members of the 1986 Disneyland Canoe Races. It shows three characters from Walt Disney's Song of the South, Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Fox and Br'er Bear, paddling in a canoe so swiftly that it almost leaves the water. The art is sculpted in relief. On the back of the pin the year 1986 is engraved. |
